I ran a small blog on another site for several years now and was pretty happy there. Unfortunately, the site administrators have decided to shut our little community down forever on the auspicious date, December 21, 2012 – so perhaps the Mayans were correct.
I am starting a new beginning here on WordPress. Boy do I have a lot to learn. New beginnings are both scary and exhilarating at the same time; Am I up to the task? Can I learn the ins-and-outs of this new platform? Will anyone but me visit my site? I am an introvert by nature, but running a blog has helped me relax and test the waters of humanity; I have made some great friends along the way and hope to do so here.
I spent some time looking at other sites here, and I like what I see. This place that already feels like home. I just have to get my feet wet and get started.
I have a variety of interests and hope to put my thoughts and ideas out here for you to ponder.
I am driven to learn all I can.
